Aim of the course

 

The aim of this course is to provide students with the risk management process, develop an understanding of what risk is, how it can be measured and transferred. The course will introduce basic concepts, principals and application of risk management. After the course students should have a good conceptual framework for analyzing risk and making decisions. Additionally, students will be able to implement risk management practices in the business projects.

Methods of teaching

 

The course will be delivered by lectures and exercises. Classes will be interactive including discussions and  group projects. Students will be involved also in discussions and presentations and case studies. Participants will be analyzing real-life case studies and will be able to take part in games.
